LEST WE FORGET – A reminder.
The earlist record of the existence of transgender people go back thousands of years. Sumerian and Akkadian texts from 4500 years ago document transgender or transvestite priests known as gala. Likely depictions occur in art around the Mediterranean from 9000 to 3700 years ago. In Ancient Greece, Phrygia, and Rome, there were galli priests that some scholars believe to have been trans women.
Over the last several years there has been a rise in so called “Gender Critical Feminism” – This ideology seeks to recruit and radicalize feminists into a fight against transgender rights by pitting womens rights and even Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual right against transrights. They say that being transgender is a new (and dangerous) trend spread by social contagion.
In fact though, it is being transphobic(/Gender Critical) that is the new trend.
I believe that “Gender Critical Feminism” is radicalisation into fascism.
They spread lies and disinformation, silencing trans voices while claiming everywhere that they themselves are being cancelled just for using their right of free apeech,
They say they have “valid concerns”, and in fact the answers to all their concerns are available but they just don’t believe any evidence that is given. They just have a playbook of made-up concerns and “what-ifs” to waste peoples time and harrass people with.
And it has some roots in the “christian” far right in America .
Transphobic hate crime in the UK has increased by 400% since 2014 , fed by the rhetoric that Transgender pople are some kind of threat to women.
The British media are also constantly pushing antitrans stories. Not a week goes by without some villifying article appearing.
In 2018 the British Journalism Awards organisers Press Gazette awarded Janice Turner the prize for comment journalism for an article entitled “Children sacrificed to appease trans lobby”. This kind of publication serves to embolden attacks against the trans community. Expecially if it wins awards! There is no trans lobby. There are certainly no child sacrificing either!
It’s just got worse and worse since then.
Even the BBC is complicit – they ran a story stating that transwomen are forcing Lesbians to have sex with them. They have admitted since that the story “did not meet accuracy standards” and it has also been lambasted by lesbians for being untrue.
The big names in this new GC (Gender Critical) ideology tend to have connections with American far-right antisemites.
Helen Joyce who writes and sells several antitrans books, literally says her goal is the reduction of trans people, that trans people are a “problem” and in a sane world they would not exist. “every one of them is a difficulty … the fewer of those people the better”

An MP in the UK (Miriam Cates) refers to transgender people not as people but as a “dangerous and extreme ideology”. She equates being transgender with having a mental illness. She has stood up and said so in the UK parliament. She attacks every organisation that was set up to ensure the rights of transgender people. She says it harms children. The old “Think of the children” cliché.
Other anti-trans rights MPs include Joanna Cherry, Jackie Doyle-Price, and Rosie Duffield.
Stonewall, and Mermaids have been subject to attacks. Anti-trans organistions have tried to have their lottery funding removed, they accused them of child abuse and of the “pushing extreme ideologies”.
The “LGB Association” was set up to fight trans rights, and even somehow managed to attain “charitable status” . This means means they pay less tax, and it looks like an endorsement from the Government.
Bev Jackson, of LGB Alliance said “We’re applying for charitable status and building an organization to challenge the dominance of those who promote the damaging theory of gender identity.”
And that is all it has done since it’s inception. It has done nothing for Lesbian, Gay or Bi people. It’s membership consist of around 7% Lesbians, about the same Gay, and 70% straight males.
On their website they state that gender transition is “homophobic conversion therapy” , they also state that the Keira bell court judgment does not undermine Gillick competency. But this has since been back to court and the court said that it indeed did undermine Gillick, and should never have been brought to court in the first place and that it was up to qualified doctors to make medical decisions, not the law courts.
The Kiera bell court case resulted in the removal of medical treatment from a huge number an transgender individuals. Now that the original case has been shown to have no merit, that medical treatment is still being withheld.
The Gender Critical movement blames transgender people for the culture war that they themselves have stoked. This is like blaming the Jews for the Nazis spreading fear and lies about them in 1940s Germany.
This fascist radicalisation masquarading as feminism must be stopped. But instead it’s proponents are on the Queens birthday honours list!
The UKs own EHRC and Attorney General have released “guidelines” that actually contravene the Equalities Act and put trans lives in danger.

You may say “Oh you can’t compare that to this”, but we shall and we must compare any situation that looks like a potential genocide, else we’ll simply be allowing it to happen again. Lest we forget.
If this disgusting, cruel, and needless campaign against transgender people in the UK is compared with the “10 stages of genocide”, I think we are around stage 7 or 8.
1. CLASSIFICATION: excluding people who are percieved to be different- “trans women aren’t women” “trans women are invading womens spaces”
2. SYMBOLIZATION: “the dangerous transgender ideology”. Instead of attacking individuals, what they are is labelled as an “ideology”, and then the ideology is supposed the victim, not the people. But the ideology does not exist, so it is the people, the human beings who are being attacked.
3. DISCRIMINATION: The recent EHRC “guidelines”, the Attorney general “guidelines for schools”, the refusal to ban trans conversion therapy. These guidelines deny the legal rights of transgender people.
4. DEHUMANIZATION: antitrans memes, equating trans people to male sexual predators. Calling transwomen “men”. “Can a woman have a penis?” etc
5. ORGANIZATION: “LGB Association”, “Womens place UK”, Maya Forstator and “Sex Matters” , Organised attacks on trans rights.
6. POLARIZATION: “Trans rights conflict with womens rights”
7. PREPARATION: indoctrination of the populace with fear of the victim group. – anti-trans articles inthe UK media every single week.
8. PERSECUTION – members of victim groups may be forced to wear identifying symbols – eg “You must have a GenderRecognitionCertificate to be allowed to enter womens spaces.”
9. EXTERMINATION – ?
10. DENIAL – ?
Gender Critical femism is not feminism, it is dangerous fascism. It helps no-one and it’s only goal is the eradication of transgender people.
